The Theme and colour section showing preset, font, default mode, palettes and key colour tokens

Theme & colour — preset, font, mode, palettes and key colours.

The foundation every other section inherits from.

Theme

“The base look of your customers’ panel.”

Let customers switch light/dark

“Shows a sun/moon toggle in their header, saved per device.”
Leave this on unless you have a strong reason. System plus the toggle means the panel matches whatever your customer already prefers, on every device.

Colours

“Start from a palette, then adjust anything you want.” Colours are edited separately for light and dark — switch with the Light / Dark toggle above the palettes. A colour that reads well on white often disappears on near-black, so check both.

Palettes

Nine starting points: Preset original · Forest Green · Ocean Blue · Sunrise · WhatsApp · Twitter / X · Glassmorphism · Neumorphism · Royal Purple.

Key colours

The ten that matter most, each with a hex field and a reset arrow:

Everything else

Fine-tune all 25 colours expands the full token list. Reset 24 colours puts them all back.
Start from the palette closest to your brand, then override the two or three colours that matter. Editing 25 tokens from scratch is a long afternoon for very little extra gain.
Keep enough contrast between text and background. A palette that looks striking in the preview can be unreadable to a customer working from a phone in daylight.
