# Branding rules

> How you may describe your service, and what you must not claim about GFXToolz.

The program is white-label by design: your customers should see your business, not ours. These rules keep that clean in both directions.

## Your brand

Use whatever name, logo and colours you like, subject to two things:

* Do not use **our** name, logo or branding as your own
* Do not use anyone else's trademarks, including those of the tools you resell

<Warning>
  Naming your business something like "GFXToolz Pro", "GFX Toolz India" or anything that reads as an official GFXToolz offering is not permitted. Pick a name that is genuinely yours.
</Warning>

## Describing your service

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Fine" icon="circle-check">
    Presenting the platform as your own product.

    Describing yourself as an independent provider.

    Making your own claims about your own service, support and pricing.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Not permitted" icon="circle-xmark">
    Claiming to be GFXToolz, or an official branch, partner or authorised agent.

    Using our name to lend credibility to your offer.

    Implying we back promises you have made.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

<Note>
  You do not need to disclose us to your customers — the whole point is that you do not have to. But you must not misrepresent the relationship if asked directly.
</Note>

## The tools you resell

The tools on the platform belong to their own owners. You are reselling **access**, not the tools themselves.

* Do not claim to own, or be affiliated with, the tools
* Do not use tool trademarks or logos as your own branding
* Referring to them factually — listing what your plans include — is fine

<Warning>
  Be careful with marketing that implies an official relationship with a tool's owner. That is their trademark, and complaints come to us as well as to you.
</Warning>

## Advertising claims

Whatever you promise, you must be able to honour:

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do not promise uptime we have not given you">
    "100% uptime" and "never goes down" are claims you cannot keep. See [Support and downtime](/policies/support).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do not advertise tools you cannot deliver">
    List what your plans actually include. Tool availability changes, and your marketing should not outrun it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do not promise unlimited what is not unlimited">
    Fair usage applies to your customers too — see [Acceptable use](/policies/acceptable-use).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Match your published policies">
    If your Refund Policy says 7 days, honour 7 days. Your published pages are what your customers will hold you to.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## If we appear on your panel

Your **panel** should contain no reference to GFXToolz anywhere your customers can see — interface, emails, page source or search results.

This does not extend to the **tools**. Tool access runs through our shared proxy infrastructure, so a customer opening a tool may see a host such as `sem.gfxtoolz.ai`, `ee1.gfxtoolz.com` or `api.gfxtoolz.ai` in the address bar or in a network request. That is expected, acceptable, and outside what white-labelling can cover — see [Where our domains can still appear](/customize/branding).

<Tip>
  If you ever spot our name leaking through, tell us. That is a bug on our side and we will fix it.
