# Billing policy

> Wallet funds, seat charges, refunds and what happens to an unused balance.

How money works between you and us. For how money works between you and your customers, that is entirely yours — see [Reseller agreement](/policies/agreement).

## Wallet funds

Your wallet is **prepaid credit for use inside the program**. It is not a deposit, and it does not earn interest.

* Funds are held in your account currency, fixed at approval — INR for India, USD elsewhere
* Top-ups are **self-serve**, with a minimum of **₹5,000 / \$70**
* Funds are spent on seat assignments and your monthly panel fee
* Nothing is ever automatically charged to a card — the wallet is prepaid

<Tip>
  Top up what you expect to use in the next few weeks. There is no advantage to holding a very large balance.
</Tip>

## Seat charges are final

When you assign a seat, your wallet is debited immediately and the customer's 30 days begin.

<Warning>
  **Seat charges are not reversible.** This applies even if:

  * Your customer refunds, cancels or disappears the next day
  * You remove the seat before the 30 days are up
  * You delete the customer's account
  * You assigned the wrong plan or the wrong customer by mistake

  You have bought 30 days. Whether they are used is not something we can see or undo.
</Warning>

This is why the panel shows you the customer, the plan and the exact rate before you confirm. Read that screen.

## When we do adjust a charge

We will correct a charge when the fault is ours:

* A platform fault caused a duplicate or incorrect debit
* A billing error on our side
* A seat that never delivered access because of a failure at our end

<Note>
  Contact us with the ledger entry. Adjustments appear in your ledger with an explanation.
</Note>

We do not adjust for a customer changing their mind, a seat you no longer need, or a mistake in who you assigned it to.

## Your customers' refunds

Refunds you give your customers come out of what they paid **you**. The seat cost stays spent.

<Card title="Price for this" icon="calculator">
  If you sell at \$15 against a \$6 seat and refund one customer in full, you are down \$6, not level. A margin thin enough that a couple of refunds erases a month's profit is a margin set too low.
</Card>

Your refund terms are yours to set and publish — see [Legal pages](/customize/pages). Set a window you can actually live with.

## Unused balance

If you stop being a reseller, tell us. Unused wallet balance is reviewed case by case, in good faith, taking into account how it was funded and how recently.

<Warning>
  Balance is not automatically refundable on demand, which is the main reason not to pre-load far more than you need.
</Warning>

Balance held on an account closed for abuse or fraud is not refunded.

## Rates and fees

Your reseller discount is set on your account and determines every seat rate you pay. **The base rate is 10% off retail**, given to every reseller from day one; it is reviewed upward as your volume grows.

* Seat rates follow the platform's retail prices, so they can change if retail prices change
* We will give you reasonable notice of anything that increases your costs, so you can adjust first
* No revenue share — we take nothing from what your customers pay you

### Panel fee

**₹999 / \$20 per month**, debited automatically from your wallet. Your Overview dashboard shows your fee and the date it is next due.

<Warning>
  The panel fee comes out of the same wallet as your seats. If your balance runs to zero, the fee cannot be taken — keep enough in the wallet to cover it alongside your renewals.
</Warning>

## Tax

You are responsible for any tax due on your sales to your customers, in your own jurisdiction. We do not collect, report or remit tax on your behalf.

<Tip>
  Your ledger is the record of your costs. Export or note your monthly seat debits — they are your cost of goods for the month.
