# FAQ

> The questions resellers ask most often, answered.

## Money

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How much does the program cost?">
    Nothing to apply, and no setup or joining fee. Once running you pay two things, both from your prepaid wallet: your **seats** (at your discounted rate) and a **panel fee of ₹999 / \$20 per month**. There is no revenue share. See [How the program works](/program/how-it-works).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do you take a percentage of my sales?">
    No. Zero revenue share. What your customers pay you is entirely yours.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What exactly comes out of my wallet when I assign a seat?">
    Your discounted seat rate for that plan — the retail monthly price minus your reseller discount — charged once, for 30 days. The panel shows you the exact figure before you confirm.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What discount do I get, and can it improve?">
    Every reseller starts at **10% off retail** — the base rate, given to everyone from day one. It is set per account and reviewed upward as you grow: the more seats you run, the better a rate we can agree. Once you have real volume, ask us. Your current rate is on your Overview dashboard as *"−N% on every seat"*.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I get a seat charge refunded?">
    Not for a change of mind, a mistake, or a customer who cancels. Only where the fault was ours. See [Billing policy](/policies/billing).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I charge my customers in my own currency?">
    Yes — any currency. Your wallet is in INR or USD, but what you display and collect is entirely up to you. See [Pricing and plans](/panel/pricing).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How much can I actually earn?">
    Your margin is your price minus your seat rate, times your customers. Using the figures on the application page — a \$18 seat sold at \$30 — that is \$12 per customer per month: **\$120** at 10 customers, **\$600** at 50, **\$1,200** at 100. Your real seat rate per plan is shown in the **Assign a seat** drawer.

## Customers

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Can I reset a customer's password?">
    Yes — either send them a reset email or set a temporary password yourself. You do not need to contact us. See [Managing users](/panel/users).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I change a customer's email address?">
    No. That is effectively an account takeover, so it stays with us. Contact us if a customer genuinely needs it changed.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="My customer added but can't see any tools—why?">
    They have no seat. Adding a customer creates the account; assigning a seat grants access. See [Seats and plans](/panel/seats).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do seats renew automatically?">
    No, and that is deliberate — you are never charged for a customer who stopped paying you. Tracking renewals is your job.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can customers sign up on my panel themselves?">
    Yes. They arrive with no access until you assign a seat, so self-signup collects leads rather than giving anything away.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can my customers see that this is GFXToolz?">
    Not in the panel — the interface, emails and page source carry your brand only, and if our name appears there it is a bug worth reporting.

    The **tools** are different. Tool access runs through shared proxy hosts, so opening a tool can show something like `sem.gfxtoolz.ai`, `ee1.gfxtoolz.com` or `api.gfxtoolz.ai` in the address bar. That is expected and cannot be removed. If asked, say you use a shared tools provider — see [Where our domains can still appear](/customize/branding).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Setup

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do I need my own domain?">
    No. `yourname.gfxtoolz.ai` is free and you can run on it indefinitely. Connecting your own domain is free whenever you want it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I use my bare domain, like yourbrand.com?">
    No — use a subdomain such as `app.yourbrand.com`. See [Custom domain](/customize/domain).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need a payment gateway?">
    No. Bank transfer, UPI, WhatsApp and cash all work fine — you assign the seat once you are paid.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need my own SMTP?">
    No. Emails already carry your branding and link to your domain without it. SMTP only changes the technical sending address. See [Email and SMTP](/customize/email).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why can't I sign in to my customer panel with my reseller login?">
    They are separate accounts on separate addresses. Create a test customer to see what your customers see.
  </Accordion>

## Running the business

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Who supports my customers?">
    You do. They never contact us, and you should never give them our details. You escalate broken tools to us. See [Support and downtime](/policies/support).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What if a tool breaks?">
    Report it to us with the tool, the error and when it started. We fix tools centrally, so every panel recovers together.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What if a tool is down for days?">
    A stable tool unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours becomes eligible for consideration — see [Support and downtime](/policies/support).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I have sub-resellers?">
    No. Sell to end users; send anyone wanting to resell to us to apply.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens if my customer shares their account?">
    Log them out everywhere and reset the password — both are in your panel. You are accountable for your customers' behaviour, so act on it. See [Acceptable use](/policies/acceptable-use).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I stop being a reseller?">
    Yes, whenever you like. Give your own customers reasonable notice, and talk to us about any remaining balance.
  </Accordion>
