# Branding

> Your name, logo, favicon, brand colours and the support details your customers see.

</Frame>

**Branding** is the highest-value screen in the panel. A handful of fields decide whether your customers see a business or a template.

## The fields

<ParamField path="Display name" type="up to 100 characters">
  Your business name. It replaces GFXToolz everywhere your customers look — the interface, the browser tab, emails and search results.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="Logo" type="image URL">
  Shown in the sidebar and on the sign-in page. Use a **PNG or SVG with a transparent background** so it works in both light and dark mode.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="Favicon" type="image URL">
  The small browser-tab icon. Use a square mark — a wide wordmark becomes an unreadable smudge at that size.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="Accent colour" type="hex colour">
  Your primary brand colour, used on buttons, links and highlights. Format `#7C3AED`.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="Accent colour (dark)" type="hex colour">
  The variant used in dark mode. A colour that reads well on white often disappears on near-black, so set this rather than leaving it to chance.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="Support email" type="email">
  Where customers are told to contact you. It also appears on your generated legal pages.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="Support WhatsApp" type="phone number, with country code">
  Powers the floating chat bubble and the WhatsApp support card.
</ParamField>

<Warning>
  Both support fields are validated for **format only** — nothing checks that the mailbox exists or that the WhatsApp number is yours. A wrong number produces a dead chat bubble your customers will press and you will never hear about. Send yourself a test message after saving.
</Warning>

## Getting the logo right

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Use a transparent background">
    A logo on a white rectangle looks broken the moment a customer switches to dark mode.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Check it in both modes">
    Use the preview's dark toggle. A dark-navy logo vanishes on a dark sidebar.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Host it somewhere permanent">
    Both fields take URLs. If that URL stops working, your logo disappears from your panel. Avoid temporary image hosts and expiring links.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## What your customers see — and what they don't

White-labelling covers **the panel**:

* The interface carries your name and logo throughout
* Emails come from your brand and link to your domain
* Page titles, search results and link previews show your business
* The panel's page source carries no GFXToolz references

<Note>
  If GFXToolz appears anywhere in the **panel** — a heading, an email, a page title — tell us. That is a bug, not intended behaviour.
</Note>

### Where our domains can still appear

White-labelling does **not** extend to the tools themselves, and it cannot.

Most tools are reached through shared proxy infrastructure, and many AI tools are self-hosted APIs. So when a customer opens a tool, the address bar — or a network request behind it — can show one of our hosts:

| Example                                                      | What it is                                |
| ------------------------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------- |
| `sem.gfxtoolz.ai` · `tools.gfxtoolz.ai` · `veo3.gfxtoolz.ai` | Per-tool proxy hosts                      |
| `ee1.gfxtoolz.com` · `as1.gfxtoolz.com`                      | Per-tool proxy hosts on our second domain |
| `api.gfxtoolz.ai`                                            | API calls made by self-hosted AI tools    |

**This is expected and acceptable.** It does not mean your panel is misconfigured, and it is not something we can remove — the tools live on that infrastructure.

<Tip>
  If a customer asks, the straightforward answer is that you use a shared tools provider behind the scenes. You are not obliged to name us. What you must not do is claim to **be** GFXToolz, or imply an official relationship — see [Branding rules](/policies/branding).
</Tip>

In practice this rarely comes up: customers sign in on your domain, pay you, and get support from you. The proxy host is a technical detail they see only in the address bar of a tool window.

## Naming yourself

<Tip>
  Pick a name you can keep. It goes into your domain, your emails, your legal pages and your customers' bookmarks. Changing it later means telling every customer.
</Tip>

You must not present your service as being GFXToolz, or imply an official relationship beyond being an independent reseller — see [Branding rules](/policies/branding).
